Erica Zippel Schnitzer is a Brooklyn-based Director, Lighting Designer, and Theatrical Manager. Her interests include new work development, devised theater, and classic adaptation, spanning across all genres. Having grown up a Montclair, New Jersey-native surrounded by people of all different ethnicities and socio-economic backgrounds, Erica strives to create socially conscious and impactful work that reflects the needs of her peers, specifically women, in the modern era.

Select directing credits include Playdate by Kallan R. Dana, Two Man Show by RashDash, and This Property is Condemned/ Talk to Me Like The Rain and Let Me Listen by Tennessee Williams. Erica has also Lighting Designed several productions including Love and Information by Caryl Churchill & The Miseducation of the Black Womyn by Maryam DeWitt. Select additional credits include What The Constitution Means to Me (NYTW), Mile Long Opera (The Office Arts), Black Light (The Public), and BRIC’s Celebrate Brooklyn! Music Festival.
